I’m Lori Rahn, a certified Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code practitioner. These three methods give us ways to explore the emotions, energetic imbalances, and beliefs you may be carrying. Each session is guided by what comes up for you.
The Emotion Code is a non-invasive, energy-based approach that identifies and releases what this method calls trapped emotions. We often think of trapped emotions as “emotional baggage” left over from difficult experiences.
What are trapped emotions?
In the Emotion Code, trapped emotions are emotions believed to be associated with past events, trauma, abuse, or other experiences we haven’t fully processed.
When do emotions get trapped?
According to this approach, an emotion may become trapped when we don’t have the time, support, or space to fully process what we felt during an experience.
Why do we trap emotions?
Sometimes we set painful feelings aside so we can get through what is happening. The Emotion Code gives us a way to explore whether we’re still carrying those feelings.
What happens when we release trapped emotions?
Some clients report feeling lighter, calmer, happier, or more connected to themselves and others. Each person’s experience is different, and changes may happen gradually.
A Heart-Wall is an Emotion Code concept describing layers of trapped emotions believed to form around the heart during painful experiences. We may build that protection after heartbreak, loss, betrayal, or other times when it didn’t feel safe to be vulnerable.
For some people, a Heart-Wall may show up in relationships. They may want to find true love but struggle to trust, let someone close, or receive love. Some have been hurt so deeply that they’ve sworn off love altogether.
Dr. Bradley Nelson has shared testimonials from people who worked on their Heart-Walls, felt more open to connection, and later found love. I find those stories hopeful. They are personal experiences, and no particular relationship outcome can be promised.
During a session, I use muscle testing to explore whether a Heart-Wall comes up for you and which emotions may be associated with it. You do not need to retell the painful experiences behind them. We work gently, one layer at a time.
The Body Code builds on the Emotion Code. While the Emotion Code focuses on trapped emotions, the Body Code explores a wider range of possible imbalances within this energy healing system.
In a Body Code session, we may explore:
These are interpretations used in Body Code work. They are not medical test results or proof that another person has done something to you. We explore what comes up without assuming any particular finding will be present.
The Belief Code helps us identify and release belief systems that may be holding us back. A belief can form through a difficult experience and become so familiar that we no longer notice how it affects our thoughts, feelings, and choices.
Some beliefs are about the body: “My body is a burden,” “I should be ashamed of my body,” or “I can’t lose weight.” Others may leave us feeling that healing is impossible, hinder our recovery, or cause us to sabotage our own success just as things begin to improve.
Beliefs can affect the choices we make throughout life. They may make it difficult to establish healthy boundaries, receive support, trust a loving relationship, or believe we deserve love. They can also limit what we feel able to create or manifest—whether that involves finances, relationships, love, or another dream we’re working toward.
For some people, a belief may create a sense of distance between them and God. They may feel unworthy of His love or support, even when their faith matters deeply to them.
In a Belief Code session, we explore the beliefs that come up for you and work to release those you no longer want to carry. The intention is to make room for beliefs that support your healing, your choices, and the life you want to build.
No. You do not need to tell me the details of painful experiences to have a session. I use muscle testing as part of these methods to help guide our work. You can share as much or as little of your story as you feel comfortable sharing.
Clients often report feeling “lighter,” “happier,” or “more connected” to themselves and others. Some notice a shift right away; others notice changes over time. Everyone’s experience is different.
Whether we work with trapped emotions, a Heart-Wall, broader energetic imbalances, beliefs, or a combination of these, my intention is to offer a gentle space for you to explore what you’ve been carrying and reconnect with yourself.
